About the Author

Pavla M. Selepa is a Czech-Canadian digital operations executive, nuclear physicist, researcher, political refugee, and corporate finance MBA, not necessarily in that order. Long before hybrid work became a mainstream term, she built unconventional, diverse, remote teams, and led them to achieving breakthrough results.

Her insatiable curiosity to figure out what makes others tick in the hybrid workplace sparked interviews with a broad range of international industry practitioners. Their generous advice forms the basis of this book. As the CEO of Virtual Work Cooperative, Pavla continues to facilitate knowledge-sharing among hybrid workers. Her home office is in Ottawa, but her work is anywhere in the world.
